Im not sure if anybody knows about this. but Live.com (Microsoft's search engine) has been doing this "click thru live.com ebay link for rebate" thing going on for almost a year already.
Just search something like
Mazdaspeed
on Live.com, if u see that cash back link at the top of the search results with the %, click thru it, Buy something with buy it now on ebay. and u will get cash back. I got a Navigation about 3 months ago and I just cashed back few days ago :)
a few catch :
if you search say, Mazdaspeed, your item MUST contain some "Mazdaspeed" name in them. You cant just search for Mazdaspeed then go find something else like "Playstation 3" and expect it to work. if you want to get rebate on other stuff, search its name first to see if it comes up on Live.com
dont even try to "oh I can just make a listing of 1000 bux, ask my friend to buy it now, tell him to pay thru paypal, when Microsoft pay me the rebate just spit it with my friend!" , Trust me they check every single auction so dont even bother. This will NOT WORK. in the end you might lose more money from ebay and paypal fees.
After your search, you MUST complete the transation within an hour. including searching, buy it now and check out thru paypal. over 1 minute? sorry, you just lost your money.
This rebate does not work with buying a car or house kind of stuff .. u know why ....
Right now, they're doing 25% rebate. I've seen as HIGH as 35% about 2-3 weeks ago. So hit it while this offer is still around :)
