Very sad day. I am not happy about this, not happy at all.

Stiff upper lip. Dr. Who seems to have legs no matter who plays the doctor.

but tennant was the best :p:

oh... and kind of off topic... kind of not. Tennant showed interest in playing the riddler in a batman movie... if that ended up happening, that would be amazing. I think he would do a great job.

I have only recently started watching some Doctor Who by renting Netflix discs. Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of limit on the number of times he could regenerate?

And what are some good eps I should watch?

Yes, I think it was 7 regenerations. But we are on like the 10th Doctor at the moment.

but tennant was the best
Baker was the best.

I will miss David Tennant, but not as much as I missed Billie Piper!!

12 regenerations adding up to 13 Doctors, and I think Bill Nighy would be perfect for the Doctor but it would not make sense for him to get older.

as for characters playing twice... well Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones) played the Doctors companion for a season (+??), but she also appeared in 2006 as Adeola in the Army of Ghosts episodes. The reaccurance was something I guess we were not supposed to catch.

Remember you're discussing Dr. Who. Continuity isn't the franchise's strong point. You have to just take it as it's offered.

I caught that too. When I first saw Martha, I was thinking "damn, didn't she get killed by Cybermen last season?" :eyetwitch

I kinda found Martha to be hotter than Rose. And definitely as a character she had a stronger personality. God, but the screenplay was awesome, because she got so sick of him talking about Rose all the time. It was like real life drama. :lol2:

Martha grew on me, but I never could develop a liking for Donna (Catherine Tate), I just found her to be way too whiny. Glad to see others like this show, I sorta felt like a freak when I referred to it and NO ONE knew what I was talking about.
