Vivid's Project 8 w/ JIC coilovers
I'm a little late with the pics but with the passing holiday I've been out of town and just finally got back.

All in all I lowered her about 1.7 up front and 1.3 out back. The gap in the back has dissapeared while a small remenent of the wheel gap remains in the front. I had to leave a little room for some wheel travel up front and because the body kit would be going on shortly and I was unsure of how low it would be. The ride is surprisingly good and best of all, it's all adjustable.

I'll be taking her out to the track tomorrow for her maiden voyage. It's a 2.7 mile road cours with 17 turns. We've invited the folks at JIC to come along as well and they are bringing their RX8 and their Porsche out to the track. Should be some real fun. I'll post pics next week from the event.
Hey Huff,
Any chance you can share the settings you used to get the ride height the way its shown in your photos and maybe the settings you would recomend for a compromise between handling and day to day driving.
Thanks heaps.

I'll post my front settings...
Lower mount to top of strut 6".
Distance between lower locking collar and upper bottom collar is about 2 1/8".
Still have to tweak the rears a bit and get final measurements.

Since we were out at the track with the guys from JIC, they brought their RX8 out and we got to play around with the settings and have some fun on the track. Thier 8 has a bunch of prototype suspension pieces on it that will be available soon, and OMG that car handles sooo nice!
The settings we found to work best on the track :
-front-8-9 clicks back from hardest setting (all the way clock wise)
-rear-11-12 clicks back from hardest setting
This was the best set up I found to work on our local road coarse here in PHX. They accutally ride pretty decent on the road as well in this setting.
My spring collars are somewhat wacky as I had to adjust for the 19" wheels.
I'm still experinmenting with different set ups and I'm trying to compile a small sheet with all my set ups so I can share it with everyone and have some thing to refer to when I need to make and adjustment. IF this seems all wierd, send me a PM or give me a call and I can explain in detail.
