I might be being paranoid, but I think my friend is trying to get me to wreck my car. He drives a 93 FD and has been looking at my car in a rather unsavory way lately. He encourages me to drive recklessly, especially around corners, telling me to street race and what not. At the same time he insists that I take proper care of the engine with almost daily oil checks, checking for leaks and oil changes at 2500miles. I wouldn't have thought twice about it but now he's pressuring me to put the car in dangerous situations which might induce an accident. Could it be that he's hoping I get into an accident so that he might salvage parts for his FD??? I know he's been wanting to see if he can do a engine swap with the 8, I'm going out of my mind thinking he's trying to take my engine from me! I fear that every crappy jalopy that swerves a little too close to my 8 is driven by my friend or his "agents". Whenever we go somewhere, he pops my hood and eyes the parts like a fat kid at the candy store. I might have to take him out before he takes me out.... He can pry my shift knob from my cold dead hand.

I'd probably just drink some scotch and relax. Single malt does wonders for the soul, calms the nerves, and after you've had a few, you won't (shouldn't) be driving, therefore your friend can't suggest dangerous things... Drink away, it's only unhealthy if you don't admit you have a problem.
