Only one week to go now and Michael will be 50 years old.

This will be what will be happening:

1. He’ll spend less time driving the RX8 and more time trying to remember where he put the keys.

2. He’ll start wondering if he’s drinking too much. All that Milo will make him keep getting up in the night for a pee.

3. He’ll have trouble recalling just why breasts are supposed to be so fascinating, and will decided that schoolgirls are really quite boring….

4. He’ll consider buying a car cover, but decide to knit one instead.

5. He won’t be completely over the hill, but will now have a clear view down both sides…

Should we have a whip round the forum and get him a pair of slippers and a pipe?

As it's now less than 3 years before I hit 60, I know about these things...

Those little signs of age are creeping in here too. This morning I fell down the bloody stairs (sober too) and landed square on the newel post at the bottom of the handrail.

Hurt like hell, and I now have a huge scrape and a magnificent purple bruise all the way down my left side.

Time for a nice cup of tea and a good lie down. Or perhaps a good therapeutic drive......

BVD , you have measured up as you are getting back into your rx8
as you know life is full of obstacles to test us its how we are prepared to handle them gives us the strenght to continue and improve , i am looking forward to being on top of the hill and looking down on both sides .

Sorry to intrude with my mexican ass here, and congrats on the B-day, but isnt it "Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional"?

At least thats how I explain it to my fiance's parents who think I'm nuts everytime I sit down and lay a smackdown on their grandchildren on the xbox...

On reflection Michael I'd say your colour choice is wise if you become forgetful - it will make finding the RX8 much easier in a crowded carpark ... although at the extreme of forgetfulness, you will most likely forget what you are looking for ... or why.

I'd recommend you locking in some support for your future - a young japaneze woman maybe .. with stunning looks, great memory, a love of cars and no comnnections to the underworld

As far as the japanese woman are concerned there are lots looking for , a sugar daddy who can hopefully get them permanent residency in australia, as i am married i only want to enjoy their company , its best to lease or rent by the hour, permanent buying as in marriage can be very costly).HAHA HA

Hqwever a bit of sushi now and then keeps the battery charged , next time i will ask her if she has a crazy kamikazy type yakuza boyfriend .

You must be getting old. You are already showing sign of CRAFT: Can't Remember A Farking Thing. Oh well - at least you can relax and forget about it. Hehehe.

Good luck for your birthday in 6 days time. My Family and I will ber having a short stay at Seaworld Nara that weekend. Please organize to kee the Yukuza away. I guess you know how to recognise them now. A Japanese at work told me that Japanese people can recognise them very easily.
