I am looking at buying an early 80's 1st gen RX-7 and was wondering if any of you could recommend a decent forum like this one for the RX-7. I don't want to waste everyone's bandwidth about a 7 here although i am sure there are some of you genuinely interested.

That's an okay forum for the FB, but check out the RX-7 mailing list. Some of these guys are vetern racers from the Great Mazda IMSA days of firebreathing racing rotaries... they know their stuff! I use to have a 1981 RX-7 GS. One of the best cars I've ever had... something about it is so pure.

http://www.wankel.net/ and there should be a link to subscribe to it. Most of the RX-7 dudes don't much about the carbed old school cars... and are too busy buying wings, wheels, and huge turbos.... :)
