I just want to share my happiest with this board.

I used to be a Mustang lover, but one morning driving to work I saw a black car on the HWY and I slowed down to see what it was and right there I FELT IN LOVE with it. It was a RX-8.

Any one installed the boomerang II in your Rx-8?

A picture of my 8 after I finish washing it in my garage.

Congrats and good luck. I just picked up my silver sport 6 speed yesterday as well! Very much in love with it myself.
Fisrt two things I did when I got home:
1. Put on a layer of Magurar's
2. Change my RX8club ID from Silvermk2supra to 80CuIn

I had a Silver '85 RX-7 GSL-SE for 17 years and it finally faded two years ago. I hope that this silver color last that long too (I have a car just like yours).

i suggest that you get the little chrome strakes - they add a touch of "zoom zoom" to it.

Does anybody have silver tinting on their cars? just wonder how it would look.

Good color choice. I mulled over all the colors for a long time at the dealer. Came down to either silver or titanium. I'm happy with my color choice.

Congrats.

I love my Silver 8 as well. My wife finally agreed that the silver looks better than the titanium after she saw it at the SF auto show.

Wow, a sudden surge of silver owners! Congrats all of you on the new 8! I also was on the fence about silver or titanium and am sure glad I chose the silver.....it's just so bright, sleek and shows the lines of the car! Looks clean all the time too. No offense titanium owners. I also want to put srakes on mine soon. Maybe in the spring time! No chance to wax it though.....too cold for me. Will do when weather breaks come spring! It will snow tomorrow a good 2-4 inches so we shall see how the all season tires hold up...I am nervous! Enjoy all!! Post your pics! Cruz

Yeah baby, Yeah!

Another Silver one joins the club!

Ah yes another 8-driver that has good taste in the color of his automobile!

I personaly think silver is the best color for a car as outstanding as the RX-8. I goes great with my graying locks!

No offense taken with the silver comments. That's because to me the titanium is a richer, more complex color. Have you guys seen the titanium at night? It produces unusual changing shadows and swirl patterns. The paint looks totally liquid. In a way, it's kind of like what Chris Bangle tried to describe about the effect he created in his BMW Z4.

One thing good about the RX8 silver is that it's unlike all the other silvers on the market. It's definitely lighter, whiter, and smoother than all the others.
