Hello all! Im one of the starters of the San Berdoo monthly meet. For Novembers meet, we are going to take a run to bolsa chica beach (in huntington beach)..and have a sort of potluck BBQ.... anyone and everyone is invited to come! and hope to meet new faces! for those closer to the I.E, we will be meeting in ontario at the am/pm directly off the 5th street exit off the 15 freeway...if others would like to create a caravan from other locations, please do:)

no it'll be mixed..... im working 3 sites.... rx8s, rx7s, and evos..... and im sure we will get a few misc.

the seven guys are cool, most likely its gonna be the same people from the autobacs meet and the ricky and ronnies meet...cool crowd

the 7 guys are cool from san bernardo as for the evo guys i am not sure but i am sure vipers will keep them in check :).

lol... i know at least 60-70 percent of everyone coming.. and they are all very nice people! the crowd you need to steer clear of is the honda crew.. they really arent dicks, but very immature teenagers!.... but its going to be a very fun hangout! youll get to meet new people, and be at the beach! doesnt get much better:)

Hey I know where Bolsa Chica is at now...I went to LB for the weekend and uh i have a Vietnamese/Chinese cousin in law...(s2k) and we went to the ASIAN MALL....thats Bolsa Chica right?

^asian malls everywhere, bolsa chica, westminster, little saigon, anahiem, and garden grove... bolsa chica is the little city next to HB....if you need help finding it, just go to my house and ill re direct to it ...

i would love to go to san diego as i have family out there (friars road/mission gorge/qualcomm stadium....however...if everyone from the RX8 club does it then ill do it. I cant leave these guys hanging...my word is my word.....But I VOTE SD the more the better!!!

yeah, my sister is has an engagement party I need to be at. Kind of tough for me to flake out on that. (as much as I'd rather be at the beach. :) )

OK, cool. I just talked to Vipers who elected me his partner in crime to plan this sucker. Maybe engineers just like getting into the details. Anyways, this is still totally open for suggestions but here's what I'm thinking...

The main entrance is in the middle of the beach where the map marks "B". If we're trying to get cars near each other I suggest we drive a ways north (R turn after you enter). There are bunch of parking lots one after the other. I humbly suggest that everyone park toward the north half of the 5th lot. Hopefully that'll be far enough in that we can get some cars side by side, but not screw us if it turns out you can get in from the north too (I'm not sure). There's some nominal parking fee but I seem to remember it's not too bad.

-I can bring all the required paper goods for everyone as I have a ton of leftovers for another event. I'll also pack a mini BBQ and the grating from my weber we can cook over the fire.

-That means everyone else has to bring wood, food, and drinks. Ideally if everyone brings some of all three we'd be good to go. Hell, if every car that showed had one bundle of wood we could have a proper bonfire come dusk. I'd think folks would want to bring serving/cooking utensiles for whatever food you have too.

-For time I'm thinking everyone shows up at 12:30 and we go till a bit after dark If you're coming in a caravan just time it out accordingly.

-I doubt we'll have a problem with fire pits at this time of year but if someone wants to get there early that'd be rad too. Any volunteers (aka --> OilCooler???)

-Anyone have any good landmarks they could bring (a gaudy umbrella or something) to help find each other at the pit? I'm rocking bleached blonde hair post Halloween so I should pretty easy to find.

yeah, the D1 event and the event in san diego is killing the turnout..... but in all honesty.. less is more:) if there was a HUGE turnout, you would barely get to know anyone! the less people you meet, the more you get to know those people :) so its still gonna be a great turnout

not to mention there are at least 6-8 people not on the list that are gonna show up for a little while but have palns in the evening! so im guessing 30-25 cars.. not too shabby

wtf i passed by twice and didnt see ONE import...

we got there at 3:15 (took 2 ours to drive from the IE through the OC) and left around 6 ish

OHHHHHH damn you guys barely missed me then...i was downtown HB on main all afternoon get my drink on lookin at all the BUTT walkin down the street :)
