Are you wearing sunglasses that are polarized when you see the spots?
My Maui Jim sunglasses offer the same effect you described. My Ray Bans do not cause the spots.
Just a thought.

Yeah I have the same problem, it has something to do with the factory tint or something. Im thinking of getting an aftermarket tint anyway, so that would solve the problem. Those spots sometime occur on new cars, i dunno it might be from using a cleaner that wasnt good for the tint (never use windex on the inside of your window if ure car is tinted because the ammonia messes with the tint)

As rxeighter said, that usually has to do with polarization. When I first got a pair of GOOD polarized sunglasses, I couldn't believe the colors in glass from tinting and how you can see the "chicken pox" looking pattern in a lot of rear glass. I don't know why you could see it without glasses. No idea.

I had some spots like that on my window the first time I cleaned it. The spots eventually went away and have never returned.
