I got my bra on my car but the three tabs that go behing the grill dont go in all the way. I put the tabs in as much as poosible, but when im done ddriving on teh higway the tabs are out .


I hope somebody can help me here its really pissing me off.

Did you try letting it sit in the sun all day to let it stretch out? Maybe you can pop them in then.

ha ha ha, Why get a bra? is the question, I hate car bra's, thats just my opinion.

There are two different bra's, with our without appearance package. Maybe that's the problem.

Yeah, I would laugh at the title of this thread as well, but this weekend on the PA turnpike a piece of metal got kicked out from under the car in front of me and gave my front bumper a little ass kicking. Oh well, if I gotta get paint work, I guess a spoiler and some appearance package pieces will get added. But I would have been saved by a bra. Hopefully if I get one it'll fit.

actually there are many "foam core" boards out there that reduce the reflectivity of the Ka band. You can't sew foam core though.

The RX-8 has a very spherical surface. Flat foam core to spherical shape is just not gonna cut it.

....I suppose someone could try and go for the super "rice" look though.

....I just got to thinking while walking through the kitchen and there was a new Victoria's Secrets catalog sitting there.

The key was to look over pics of my car and see which might match the correct angle of one the the models.

I Thought it looked pretty cool myself.

If it makes u happy I fixed the two errors in my sig. I knew they were there but its called laziness that’s why I have never fixed the errors. So thanks for bringing to my attention. So I can get off my A$$ and fix the problem’s in my sig.

yup........try applying some sort of oil (serious) to both sides of the cover. then letting it sit for a day or two. does it not fit just a little? or does it not fit at all?

I got a bra for my 8, but it was too big. I contacted a plastic surgeon and got implants. Problem is, they leaked. I had them removed. Finally, thumbing through a catalog that my girlfriend left lying around one day, I discovered "The Wonder Bra". Finally, all the support and lift I was needing.

I ordered the bra for my car as well since my car had to be transported across province. I had the same problem getting it to fit as well. The only part that fit good was the lip on the hood, other than that I had to give up. Another reason why I left it off was because the canadian RX-8s have headlight washers and the bra would prevent it from coming out, possibly resulting it to break when I use the windshield washers. Sorry to hear you have a problem too.

If a woman had invented the car bra, it'd probably be called a jock strap. Now would you rather put a bra or a jock strap on your car?

I had the same problem with my bra. I assume you have a bra for appearance package. I believe the bra for non-appearance package has a mesh covering the whole center grill.

There're three tabs, 2 on the sides are longer and one in the middle is short. My middle one kept coming out after few minutes of 70+mph drive, so I drilled a hole on the grill and tab and used tie-wrap to secure the center tab.
Since they're all black, it doesn't look that bad.

I only use mine when I go on a long distance trip. It really helps especially during hot southern summer, where you have millions of bugs dying (literatelly) to be one with the car.

Unfortunately, no. That is the reason I had to keep it off during my semi-trans atlantic journey, so I wouldn't risk damaging the headlight washers. :(
