OMG, those are aggressive offsets. Does that create more of a concave look than a 9.5 inch wide wheel with a 30 - 35 offset?

yeah he's runnning crazy offsetts, dunno bout weight but all i knoe there lighter than stock, anything lighter than stock is an upgrade.

damn, that first silver 8 has the perfect stance and wheels IMO. Too bad i have to drive my 8 in the winter here, or i would definitly be doing that to mine. all the other 8s are gorgeous of course. the blue 8 is also really badass. looks like vegas is the place to be.

i dont know of any wheel brand that sells wheels that have safety issues. im sure all wheels have to pass a certain test before being shiped and sold to the public.

Man they just dont get it do they Mike. But I dont think it has to be DOT legal. You can have $500.00 rims or $50,000.00 rims its just a number. My director of sales has a BMW 7 Series. He went over a dip in the road and has a dent in his rim. Now when he gos over 55 mph his steering wheel shakes. Its not his tire not the alignment but the rim.
I also have pix of a Lambo that hit a wall and wiped out. The center part of the wheels where the lugs conncets stayed on the car but the rim and tires came off lol I'll dig them out and scan them.

I got a look at Armin's near completed restored 8 and it's looking pretty good. The next time he posts it should be done and he can make the meets. He just needs to remember to bolt/screw/fasten down the little parts so they don't touch the exhaust.

You will not have to touch up the pics on Armin's car next time Anthony.
