Me and a few guys will be going to Sparta on October 17th for "Street Legal Firdays" which is only 15$. 5$ per spectator or crew. If you feel like coming out and having some fun for that night come and join us. Invite other forums too if you can. Its always more fun when more people show up.

Rx8's suck for drag strip man. It's a no go for me, I don't want to see my weak 1/4 mile run lol. Track different story!

meh rx-7's aren't that much better ... I have a first gen rx7 and just going there for fun before the snow hits.

last year i ran a 14.8 with a low compression engine

14.64 was my best of the day with my first gen ... I could of probably drop it down to 14.4 or so had I had better tires.

thats quick, i was in st thomas around 7 and seen a 2nd gen heading towards sparta how many 7's ended up showing up?

was it a bright red? It might of been Aaron's car. There was only 3 rx7's that showed up ... a couple of younger kids with dsm that couldn't drive properly. I beat their best time which was a 14.65 with a guy that says he was running 15lb of boost. Also an rsx-s was running right about 16's not sure whats wrong with people not knowing their cars. This is only my second time hitting up the drag strip ever. My buddy Martin with a T2 engine off a 91, and street ported engine did a best run of 14.26. For an NA 12a streetported engine I'm doing pretty good.
