Hello all!

Soon to be Rx-8 owner in the So.FLA region.
I've been silently lurking/trolling the forums and learning as much as I could about the car over the past few months (and driven a few as well!) and I must say I'm glad to start fresh on a new forum!

I've got a hefty mod list coming and I'm excited to meet all the locals and their tuned 8's! I live in the Sunrise area of Broward and I always see a blue 8 running around.

Anyways enough of the jib-jab. My last car was a full Stg3 B5 S4 putting out about 437awhp @ 21psi on full RS6 K04's. A pic of her before she died--> (silver)


Due to a failed turbo inlet pipe and an impeller shard going somewhere it shouldn't she died an untimely death =( which landed me in an Acura 3.2CL as a DD.

I've worked on numerous projects with Audis, 350z/G35's, and GTIs.
A recent one I've helped in is the transition of a BT B6 A4 from a GT3071R to a GT3076R



If you guys need any help with mods, let me know! I'd be more than happy to help, and make new friends.

Welcome. Sounds like you had pretty sick Audi. Sorry for your loss. What color 8 are you planning to get?

 

Thanks! I plan on getting a black Mica but the titanium gray has been growing on me, as has the sunlight silver...I really don't know but at this point its a toss-up! Just waiting for the rest of the funds to come in...the way the economy is right now it was already hard enough finding a loan.

 

Honestly, I think you should get the Black but that's just my preference. What are your plans for the 8, since you said you were going to mod it.

 

black cherry mica is hot.... I have a black eight and I wish there was alittle more excitment to the paint job

Progress F/R Anti-roll Bars
AFE StS
Custom gauge mount like Jedi's

Then a little bit later on
Cobb AP with maps from MM
MS Front tower Struts
Water pump + 2nd Oil Cooler
And after a while another radiator

I worked like a slave in order to buy parts and maintain it properly. But, these cars are cursed I swear, something ALWAYS goes wrong.

 

i guess you're the man i need to talk to when i plan on getting my B7 S4 lol, (still undecided)

welcome to the club...trust me when your black rx8 is clean (rarely) it is the biggest attention ***** ever. i have zero regrets going with brilliant black, the curves of our car show off nicely with black paint.
