My cousin (female) wants one of these boats for her next car. I know they are all the same run of the mill luxury sedans/coupes (a dime a dozen and all look the same to me) and I wouldn't pay that much for these cars, but if you were her which would you choose?

I told her the G37.

Does she need 4 doors or 2? If she has a family, the 2-door thing will probably get tiresome, especially as the kids get older and bigger.

I drove the 6, it is an nice car, but it is huge and I felt like I had to be 250lbs+ to be comfortable in it.

depends what she wants from the car. luxury looks, with sport handling? luxury all the way? one that's fit for a family? 2 door, 4 door? she should go to the kelly blue book site. they have a comparison chart on there. choose the one that has the features that best fit what she's looking for.

She said the same thing, you guys think alike.

She's single and on the "rebound"and she wants it to be big enough she that she can "hook up" in the back seats and still be classy. She wants the most bang for her buck and is leaning toward the Lexus. It makes no sense to me but that is the way she is. I will ask her to consider the Mazda6, but she is looking for the luxury type cars that are typical SoCal. Mazda should use the Afini logo out here as their luxury line.

the 335i and G have small backseats, can't do much with those. my mom has a lexus and anything above an IS has LOTS of backseat space. we've stuffed the car with suitcases before and it fit perfectly. never been in a CLK, but seeing as how it's a boat, i'm guessing it also has ample space.

however, if she's young, a CLK or Lexus are too mature for her. they're more like settling down types of cars IMO.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Unfortunately, hooking up in the back seats and classy are mutually exclusive.

^^^Oh I agree. She was telling me how she hooked up in her car last week and there wasn't enough room so the dude started relieving himself in the car. I told her to burn the car.

I will tell her about the 335i and the G not having enough room. She is 35, a HS teacher in SoCal, and I believe she is reaching cougar status and wants the car to go with it. I don't think she minds settling down but recently it has just been "one night stands" and short flings with strangers. Maybe she thinks the car will help her. She is going to the Infinity dealership and BMW dealership this week to compare it with the Lexus.

I say G37. The car is just sexy, fast, high resale value. If not that, then mercedes. The outside isnt flashy and sporty but the inside of them are insanely comfortable and scream luxury. Mercedes is all about the feel of the drive. Thats why the inside gets 1st priority.

335i real ultimate driving machine...its the best. My mom likes her merc though its a c350 so thats kinda like a sedan version of the clk. Lots of little techie tidbits in that. but id vote for the bimmer.

She's 35 and HS teacher.........but still doing 'naugty' in the backseats of her car???? ...a bit too freaky...lol..j/k...

Why can't she do it at her house? or apt? ............or atleast get a motel room?....lol....it'd be a lot more comfortable and 'classy'.....than doing it in the backseat of a Lexus, CLK, Bimmer, etc,... in some dark alley or abunden parking lot? lol

That's why I'm not too fond of used cars. Now if the incident involved cougar-on-cougar action, that might be a different story.

What car does she have now? And yah, get to work on those pics. :)

Anyway, I'm not a big BMW fan, I'd go with the GS if she needs boom-boom room...

you cant beat the bmw, they're not called the "ultimate driving machine" for nothing.. and the 3 series, 16 years in a row in the car and driver top 10 cars.

and just look at it!

plus bmw assist, everything is free for the first 50 thousand miles including wiper blades & oil changes

You know, I like it, but there's so much going on with the 3-series stylistically, that's it's actually getting a little confusing. They've refined the hell out of it, but also added so many design elements...

It's sleek, but busy at the same time. Strange. I hope that's what they were going for.
