the 09's don't have those gauges? There is a dimmer switch on the left of the steering wheel on the dash. When the lights are turned on, you can switch it between the blue background with red numbers or black background with white numbers.

Maybe take multiple shots, one with a real quick shutter and one with a longer exposure. I'm just guessing that the quick shutter one would be much darker, but the lights might come out sharper. You would have to mix in photoshop, but might work. :dunno:

Aaaawww... I'm sorry.... Unfortunately, that is something you won't bee able to experience... They didn't add that feature to the '09's..... :(

On our earlier year "8's"... Once the headlights are on it dims the lights and changes to a soft blueish glow.... You can however, switch it back to the normal white if you wish... but they just didn't add it on the new ones....
