Its photoshopped, its the same exact pic as our forum logo just in black w/red interior

Johnny was correct, it was Photoshopped. I was playing around with color combos and I really hope that combo, or some black on black and red motif, will be offered.

I found my new desktop.....Better than the yellow in my opinion....

Hello everyone,
I hope the RX8 will be available in a pearl white with a black leather interior. Red trim/stiching would be icing on the cake. I have always wanted a white car, and think (hope!) the RX8's lines will complement the color well. Hoping it won't look too feminine in white...anyone agree or disagree...love to hear comments. Any photochop whiz's out there, feel free to post some white cars...it would be much appreciated. Many thanks,

WOW! Can I just thank you for that pic. That is the best looking RX-8 color combo Ive seen so far. I hope Mazda has a production model with that combination. Good job guy.

I've been looking at cars on the road trying to find a color besides the primary hues that I thought would look good on the car. What do you think about a color that for lack of a better word I'll call champagne? Kinda a cross between silver and gold. I saw a Lexus ES 300 with this sort of color going home last night and I thought it looked good. Subdued yet had the highlights in the sun. Of course there's always 'electric blue' ala the M-3 and I'm surprised but I like the green FD above to. I just can't quite picture it on an RX-8 though.

Ya. That's about the color. What you can't get across in a PS'd image unfortunatley is the mettalic. But I like it. THANKS.

but since you do such an amazing job in PS do you think you might be able to make that same picture with the brilliant candy-apple red of the first pictures of the EVOLV with some black and red trim? that would look amazing and is how i'm hoping to preorder my rx-8.

With all the painting going on ... What are the possibilities of us getting custom colors? Or taking the car to some body shop to paint. How much would that cost? Would it void any warranty?

Yes, it is now - but this thread is 16 months old, and was started LONG before the available colour combinations were known. For some reason, someone resurrected it after it had been dead for over a year!

Hate to tell ya, but that's a stock combo in the US, albeit not common. I was torn between that, the red/red, the nordic green/chapparel, and the blue.

The "black widow" combo (as I have it saved on my "My Mazda" wish list, looks sick in pics, and the interior looks stunning in real life (The blackout scheme really brings out the red stitching in the seats... you should see it in person). I just think that the black exterior hides too many of the sexy curves of the car.

Hate to tell ya, but this thread was started a year and a half ago - long before the stock colour combos were announced! Kind of pointless to rag on them about it now, isn't it? ;)
