Is it just me or does it rain the same day or the day after you get a carwash?

(i know i could watch the news or weather channel but i just hate having a dirty, black car!)

I hear ya man. I would have purchased the black 2004 Honda Civic SiR hatch, were it not that it had had become so dirty after the test drive. Keeping a black car clean is no easy task, but damn does it look nice! Hope you get a break in the weather

not for a while...it just started getting cold here in Chicago and it was snowing a little a few days ago...there's really nothing i can do about that, but the last 4 times i've gotten a carwash, it has rained that very same day or the day after...it never fails!

i could do a great service to the people of Ethiopia if i just move there and wash my car...instant rainfall...

I washed and zainoed the 8 on Thanksgiving, and it rained that night on the way home from my in-laws. It also rained Friday. Oh well. At least the zaino makes the water bead off it nicely, I guess.

RainX is great for you windows as well...you don't even have to use your wipers when moving, the water just beads right off your windshield

Yeah, I'm pretty much convinced that as you pull out of a carwash parking lot that you roll over a weight sensor that triggers the "convection / frontal system" response. For those who wash at home, you thought those sensors in the pavement near your house were just for the traffic signals too. Yeah, they've got ya fooled...damn black helicopter people! :D
