I'm trying to find out where to buy aftermarket or OEM aluminum gas pedal, brake pedal and foot rest for on '05 RX8 automatic.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Rosenthal Mazda has a good on-line parts section called FinishLine:

Can also try: http://www.mazdaparts.org/marxpaandac.html

Or: http://mazdagear.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=8

Apologize for raising a dead thread, but anyone have a guide on installing the new alum. gas pedal assembly? I'm considering changing it, but honestly it looks a little more complicated than just unscrewing the old one and screwing in the new one :)

Planning to get one from Mazdatrix... http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=V8-2210-F151

the gas pedal was the easiest thing in the world to replace on mine, brake pedal....well....not so much :D: All you do for the gas pedal is remove the old one, unplug it from the harness etc. and put the new one in, the OEM aluminum one is a direct fit replacement.

I would assume the gas pedals in both the MT and AT would be the same, but Mazdatrix lists only the AUTO version of the pedal... Strange that I couldn't find a DIY or guide for this on the forum... =/

I think they are the same but you might want to ask around some more or maybe call a dealership just in case. I could have probably done a good 20 or so DIY's when we were building my car for Sema 2 years ago but I just didn't have the time unfortunately, we barely made the show as it was
