so I am having their hybrid FRP bumper installed right now at the shop. They told me the bumper is wayyyy too thin and that i should not drive it during the winter when it is snowing, or it will crack ( or at least the paint will crack) cause the bumper is so thin and flexible.
anyone have any experience driving it in the winter? i dont think the shop knows its a hybrid FRP ( vs normal FRP ).. so.. anyone know if I should try to drive it int he winter?

Depends on you location and how much snow you get.

And I think that the paint would spider crack before the bumper cracked.

i live in Columbia, Missouri and we get quite a bit of snow and i've had no problems, just be careful, i have 17" wheels on my 8 with Tein S techs and the Autobahn front and its almost slammed with that set up. my hardest time was when my apartment complex had our streets plowed and the they boxed my car in so i had to walk and buy a shovel. but other than that as long as your careful you should be just fine.
