Any rx-8 owners in sf here? I know I've seen some around and said "hi" to a blue 8 owner. Anyways, just wanted to see how many owners are in SF.

Anyone know where to get 5W-20 all synthetic oil. Just want be ready when it's time to add. I checked Kragen. I can get Mobil at Auto Barn on line but I thought I might be able to get it local.

I'm from San Francisco but, don't own a RX-8. I wish i did but, I don't have the money right now.

I don't think the Silver one on Polk attends the Academy. I work at the Academy and never se the owner drive it away. Probably the fastest car from our school is a red Evolution 8.

I also saw a black RX-8 last week, Tuesday or Wednesday, around 3:30pm in Japantown. Then a red RX-8 today on 280 N around 2:30pm heading towards the city.

I know there are more RX8 owners than this.

yeah, I agree with Ergo. I talked to a black rx-8 owner on 19th Ave at a stop light, are you out there? And I've seen a blue, and I know there are maybe 4 tit grays including mine. However it's still very rare that I see a 8 in san francisco. Anyways, hope to meet all of you one day.

Where are you guys going for an oil change? I am just now hitting 5,000 miles as I drove it cross country. Great drive. I would normally do it myself except I have nowhere to do it here, which I guess I am going to have to learn to deal with.

Welcome to the Bay Area murix. The only Mazda dealer in SF is Royal Mazda. But you can find others around the Bay Area and closer to San Jose.

Hey man, good to know that you got my card, I was pretty sure that it was you on Noreiga since black 8's are rare in SF. It's great meeting rx-8 owners in the city. I just made the drive to Tam Mountain for the first time last weekend and the whole area is a drivers dream, especially for one with a RX8. I think that is my new playground. :D
