Eddie was here with his bright yellow car (needed sunglasses to look at it) Marin was here with this bent crossmember and has a Mspeed exhaust on order.........Eddie did you get the CAI working properly????? Smoker 08-28-2008, 09:02 AM Oh yea, I was there as well! Another top notch job by Russ and the guys. They got that nasty rattle out from the Moonroof area and they got rid of my buzzing noise from the console area during red line. On top of that, they clean the car inside and out while waiting for me to come over. Looks a lot sharper than the new "Americanized Accord", and of course the WHALE-like Camry. But they've taken out the sportiness out of it slightly to make it more refined. Perhaps a kitted Mazda6 would look nice. Can I try one out Al next time I come? I couldn't find you today. Thanks again so much for your help! i am pretty excited to put the exhaust in on saturday.. i guess since its going to be my first mod. i wasn't expecting to run into any members while i was there it was pretty cool.. damn and your rx7 is very nice... hopefully i will be able to come to Shanonville on monday depends how the rest of the weekend plays out but at this point i think i will be there. REV-illusions 08-28-2008, 08:49 PM Al.. we redid Eddie's CAI that night.. it's running a lot better now.. doesn't stall.. it apparently still studders a bit around 6000rpm.. but that could just be the remapping.. heh.. We are racing the 14 and 28th and have the Mazda 6 ride and drive on the 21st so that pretty much takes up September. Anytime in October would work for me, season is over by then! I think black is too black on the car, and would make the car look too boy-racer-ish.. My car is 04 and has 44k miles...... Here's something you can show to your dealer, if they refuse to do it... The rust is most visible on vehicles equipped with 17" chrome wheels. 1. Remove rust from hub(s) by sanding. 2. Clean/prep hub surface for primer. 3. Mask off brake rotor area. 4. Apply primer around entire hub area. 5. Once primer dries, apply a heat type silver paint to the affected area to repair the vehicle. I have them for the 3....They look great.....but for the 8 I'd get the real deal...=) the Work emotion Kai CR are a heavy wheel.. but do look nice....and you won't be the only one to have them...ATON of people have these wheels on everycar you can name.. and the CR Kais you showed us on DANO's car has a really aggressive offset and like 9.5 width wheel to make them look decent with some concavity.. good luck , I still say Advans !!!! It's unfortunate that the RG2 isn't available in gunmetal. Given the style of the wheel, I only like it in that color. What color Rota are you running with your 3 and are they boosts? If I went with the Work's I would go with the same width and offset as Dano but the weight does bother me, so I probably won't go that way. Which wheels do you have again on your 8?
