Imagemotorsports.ca Shannonville Sept 1 Full Track Day

Labour Day Monday September 1, 2008 9am - 5pm $140 prepaid $160 @ the track organized by Imagemotorsport.ca

The Shannonville is great for beginners (eg, me) to spin out and have fun without damage to the car.

When you crash in Mosport, you're flying at 160km+...You gonna touch things HARD. In Shannonville you probably gonna just eat some grass...

Al and I will be there after CRDA/CASC Ontario Regional Races @ Mosport on Sunday...and take pictures of your license plate hahahahah :P

Its a high performance driving event so you won't get your car impounded for street racing by poopoo...

Details will be updated during the week (eg, Pro or SMP Long Track etc... Thanks for your attention.)

you can crash hard anywhere..there is a lot of run off room at shannonville but you wont eat grass...the grass will eat you and tear apart your car...........I run the full track a lot and 160 is not unusual on the back staright. anyways, this is a good deal...just I want to run mosport before the season is over...have run shannonville a few times this year.

I ate grass there and luckily no damage done (whew)...

yeah you can hit 160km/h on the backstraight in Shannonville.

Once you lowered with bodykit tho...your grass eating experience will not be so pleasant..

The DDT at Mosport is a big go-kart track, Kafka is talking about the Grand Prix track at Mosport. We were there on the weekend and saw 4 cars fall off, they all fell off the way you would when lapping. 2 fell off in turn two both hit the bottom wall hard, one P1 Prototype went off exiting turn one and hit the wall between 1 and 2 hard. You have to remember in our car (much much slower then the lemans cars) we still average 150kmh per lap. THATS AN AVERAGE SPEED! At Shannonville our average lap speed is about 107kkmh.

Other than Joshua (Kafka) is anyone else coming to Shannonville on Monday? It would be cool to get a headcount and all drive out together. We will leave the dealership around 7:30am on Monday morning.

Well Josh maybe we should just go to the big track at Mosport with the Kensai guys if no one else is coming to Shannonville. I just cant pay money to run on the DDT track. Its was too hard on brakes, tires etc and barely wide enough for 2 cars.

Okay, since everyone who said they were coming to Shannonville isnt coming anymore, Joshua and I are now going to the big track at Mosport. He doesnt have to pay the extra $175.00 for an instructor..............cause he has good ole me! Anyone else coming???? $300.00 for the day I can take 1-2 more students.

A bunch of people said they were going and in the 11th hour couldnt decide or changed their minds. We had to make a commitment either way, and Mosport is closer for us. Thats the problem with trying to organize things no one wants to commit. Anyone else who wishes to come is welcome, but you need to commit to us TODAY that your coming, fill out your entry form and PREPAY Kensai. You can tell them on your entry that I am your instructor and you wont have to pay the extra $175.00

I think Kensai racing still open on Sat...but you better do it today just to be safe.

Call Al ... 4167520970 x229...and ask him what you should put down in the registration form if you want to make sure. He just put no instructor but with Al's as instructor or something.

I can send you the registration form if you PM me your email.
