Hey Guys, looking at various kits for my WB 8. One of the options is do nothing (choice C). Curious as to which you would go with and why.

C. Personally, I like the clean stock lines. I would prefer a slightly better nose with bigger oil cooler opennings, but the side pieces always look tacked on, especially since the stock 8 already has a very clean enhanced rocker panel look.

But don't listen to me, I'm an old fashioned sports car guy, not cool at all, except to my kids.

well at least you have good taste,,, all choices are good ones I really like the Vertex and AutoExe...

I love Mazdaspeed, as long as it is authentic.

Vertex, I think it looks the best.

I like D and F the most for blue.

I would go with E without strakes (blech) and a spoiler. D is nice too, but the lines just don't look quite right for that color in my opinion. E looks very clean and aggressive without looking over the top. I really don't like A, and B. They both look way too much and the lines don't match the car.

D or F.

^i'm with jedi - autobahn should be considered but between the options - i'd say option D w/no canards by a hair over Auto-exe.

^ I thought about the Autobahn quite a bit. It was one of my initial favorites but as time passed, I liked it less and less. It just doesn't do it for me.

One of the reasons I am torn in all of this is that the OEM look reminds me of some of the older race cars and I like that. However, I am drawn to a lower front as well, bit more modern and aggressive.

Chris, your car looked really good with the veilside kit. I've always liked that kit but feel like I'm too old for it :) It's also a tad too busy for me but I love the way they dip the nose down so low. It looks like it means business.

Make sure you pick want you like. Yiu have to see it and drive it everyday.

i chose "B" since i loveeeee the RAMEN kit.....looks pretty badass with the fog lights which i think sits'n'fits very aggressively on the 8.
but in the end, its how you want it, you do what you got to do, bc no matter what you still have a RX8 :) . maybe uglier or maybe prettier or maybe just plain....fat girls skinny girls chunky girls short girls...it all comes down to preference**



but choice Ramen kit is sweeeeeeeeeeeet!

Scott, you have to remember that pretty much all your choices except the MS kit (Real deal MS Kit) will be Fiberglass. You gotta think long term winter as well. Unless you have another car you drive in the winter.

I like the Vertex kit, but without the canards. the Autobahn is nice as well.

Hmmm.... what is the MS kit made of? I didn't realize that it was not fiberglass

Results so far:
-Surprised that nobody picked the INGS +1, I thought it was more popular than that
-Seems that Vertex and MS kits are the two winners thus far. I was thinking that the Auto exe (F) or MS kit would end up on top before I posted this.

MS Kit is Made out of a material called Metton, its pretty strong from what ive heard.

I can tell you this, compared to my Fiber Glass replica MS kit, the read deal doesnt chip as easy (knock on wood) I had alot of rock chips on the old replica bumper. the new real one, i do not get many if any at all.

I belive some of the kits you listed also requires the removal of th rebar protection, sometimes its not the best bet to remove it.

The rebar doesn't need to be removed for any of them, as long as you trim as necessary. such as for the autoexe bumper.

Keep in mind that "F" has the MS sides. Anyways, I think you should go with the Mazdaspeed bodykit. It's the cleanest and will go well with most aftermarket wheels. My second pick would either the Rmagic front lip or the INGs +1.

Im not talking about the rebar, im talking about the foam protection on the rebar.
