To make a long story short, I was pulling into a gas station and some guy passed stopped traffic on the right and T-BONED my poor car! $7K worth in damages. My whole passenger side needs to be replaced but I dropped it off at a really good body shop today and it will be ready for me in 2 Weeks!

No passengers ( Good Thing!) but I wasn't hurt, when I got hit the car really took the brunt of the impact, I thought that I just rammed the curb or something!

Damn girl, that sucks. Looks like it's time to get a MS rear bumper, side skirts, and some new wheels. Might as well put that insurance money to good use. Even smashed this car still looks better than 99% of the cars out there :)

BTW, people who use the shoulder (especiall the right shoulder) as a passing lane SUCK!

Thanks for all the comments, I know this guy will do a good job alot of my friends are in the car business (mechanics and shit) and they all tell me that this guy does great work! Where are the meets in the area I would love to spot by sometime?

there is tuesday night at starbucks in east rutherford or thursday night at tgifridays in flemington.....both meets are peaceful and without issues (we have permission from the owners/managers) your right about in the middle of both spots it seems

Make sure they use new Mazda parts only. And make sure you get paid for loss of value, lots of people dont push that part of the claim. Can you say mazda Speed body parts?

Wow! That just hurt my eyes... Glad your ok!!! I friend of mine has a WB that also got T-Boned as well... I was impressed at how our cars take on hits like those... She had a bit more damage on the side and all her airbags went off... For those that haven't seen them... they are of a pale pink color and it makes your "8" look like you have blinds on your windows... hee hee! Anyway, def watch for the parts since, they were giving her used Mazda parts has far as the body... She had like a T-Gray trunk and Red door and such!! The poor thing is getting her car tomorrow, I beelieve, since her accident a month ago!!

:Eyecrazy: wow. as with everyone else, glad you're ok! hopefully the person that hits you doesn't give you any problems when it comes to paying for the damage and the time spent without your car (which, btw, you can take up with your insurance to get a rental car and such on their tab).

i actually didn't need a rental car. I have a 2006 Mazda 3i as a daily! by the way its for sale if any one is interested LOL! I am really suprised that the airbags didn't go off due to the fact that i have side air bags but the body shop guy said that I only got hit going like 25mph so it would have to take more then that to go off but i will tell you when it happened i thought that i just hit a curb of something it was great. I really didn't feel a thing. I can't wait to get the car back. Everything is new including the two new wheels I will be getting and I get to keep the old ones for auto crossing next spring which I thought was pretty cool and as for a body kit, I think I am going with BN Sports. Not that mazda speed isn't nice but I really like the aggressive look that BN has.

I would have killed the person that hit your car if that was my car .... some people dont know how to drice .... they should go back the driving school with the 15 16 yr kids
