Just vote wither or not the 8 is so buetiful that you don't have to add a kit!

i think the stock look is full of style, so it's not begging for it... but i do admit that one could come up with some really great alternatives to go with the body...

I like'm stock. That's the way they were designed to be.

The more I see that car with a body kit the more I like it stock (on the outside). But the internals and performance on the other hand... I'll have those parts before I have the car

I like the housing around the exhaust on the x car. notice that the boy colouring goes all the way down around the exhaust on the x-car and how the stock comes with a standard dark grey panel.

I voted yes, not for a rediculous kit, but for some accents (ie white covers for the front side flashers).

The kit mazdaspeed has on their rx8 is way better than stock imho.

I can't stand the Mazdaspeed RX-8 kit.. just too ricey in my opinion.

I buy cars for sportiness and elegance.. that's pure 'sport' and in my mind pure 'rice'. Most of it might have a good function but those rims and that spoiler... blech. I like simple and understated. M3 is a prime example. You know it's an M3 by the exhaust and fender gills and *slightly* more aggressive front spoiler.. but that's IT.

You can make a car fast and handle well without making it look like it's fast. If Mazda makes the car like that I'd never buy it.

I agree with Wakeech. It looks great without one, but I mean look at the MSP. That's one hell of a kit.

oh yeah, and love the wing.

I reckon it looks good on its own, but there is a lil room for improvement with the airflow into the engine cavity, once the licence place is stuck over the intake. I hear rotaries dont like the heat, so i say give it a bit of clean air and she'll be a beauty.
it does look a lil too high too, side skirts couldnt hurt either:cool:

the license plate doesn't block any air flow for cooling purposes, the radiator is located below the "mouth".

Yeah, what he said, so I vote for.

I'd like to see some kind of (non-racer boy) rear wing that followed the wrap-around rear window's playing along the similar design shape and lines ... sort of like the last RX-7's lower stock wing.

mmm i think im going to have to vote for kit, nothing major tho. i figure so long as no one lets veilside have a go at it to make some super hyper turbo combat II ex+alpha kit we should be ok.

i was hoping for something up front similar to the difference between the 93 rx-7 and the 99 rx-7 front lip. i do admit tho, i really do like the mazdaspeed rx8, it "looks" fast, if that's your thing. if not, hey that's great too, some people subscribe to looks like hrm...the maranello which is simple and elegant looking with really only a few hints at how freakin fast it is (ie hoodscoop, gills, ferarri tail lights)

Funny. I like this kithttp://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid54/pe4d0f2844869bfa2a691ffe0bfd127fc/fc82a799.jpg
This is the factory kit right, so it'll be available here in the states right. Any way I'm pretty sure there'll be some hideous kits.

I saw this body kits in yellow in Mazda R&D center. With this kits, RX-8 looked more wide and large compared to normal one.
(Fortunetly, there was a normal RX-8 in red next to this one)
The front view with this kit was very cool to me.

For me, the impression on the rear spoiler was a little bit different form what I felt from this picture. That was a little bit too racey than I imagined.
I prefer lip type rear spoiler which Euro RX-8 has. I would like to see if the lip type rear spoiler can match with the other parts of this kit.

This is just my impression.

this is hopefully how my rx-8 will end up. polished rims from the factory and the mazdaspeed kit with winning blue and black leather interior- also glad to see they are offering aluminum ac vents and stainless door sills. maybe diamond plate floor mats-maybe

What do you mean by that?

Are you saying body kit look ugly or there is some better one out there?

I dont see anything wrong with having a body kit...

Every sports compact car has a bodykit that make the car looks alot nicer. Sure stock rx-8 is beautiful but I know there's going to be a sick body kit. S2000, nsx, rx-7, supra mmm; they all look nice stock, but there are always kits that make them look better.

MazdaSpeed body kit is one sick one!
So I vote kit that thing.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder boys, and aint it wonderful that there are so many options out there to make our new rides look just about any way that we could want them to look.....

America is a wonderful place!

Not that it matters, but I voted to "keep it stock baby"
(I do like that polished aluminum gas tank cover, though........)

I like the aluminum strakes that go in the air ducts on the front fenders. IF that counts as a body kit, then I vote for kitting the car. Other than that, all it needs is a drop. The ground clearance is too much for my taste. I like for my cars to sit pretty low. The car is already so tall though, that I think putting a kit on it that would extend the sides and ends of the car closer to the ground would look goofy. I think the body is perfect as-is. It sort-of reminds me of the italian artistic ideal of busy, but elegant. The body has ALOT going on. More than alot of "ricey" cars do actually. Mazda just did a really good job of pulling it off. A body kit would be too much for me though.

Yeah, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think the stock looks like it's got a lame grin which is why the more agressive kits work for me. The MS kit is good, but RE-Amemiya and Carisma are BETTER! When I've finally finished the work of art that will be my RX8, I'll be glad of all the others - they'll make mine look better!!

the car is great stock but there are alot of bodykits that make the car look even better. just my $.02

You could spend the money on looking pimp :( or you could spend the money on making the car perform better. I don't even have to think about it. If anyone can prove to me that a body kit SIGNIFIGANTLY lowers drag then maybe I will put it last on my upgrade list.

The body is sophisticated and quite elegant. I wouldn't dream of taking away from her natural beauty :D
