I thought I would start another thread for the "I've been spotted" stickers...

Quite a few of you have PM-ed me about it and my box is getting full :Eyecrazy:

Below you can see the latest development for the sticker that I came up with...

A few of you floated Ideas about user names and what not...I can do that for you, if you want. I'm working on putting this all together and I hope to have a price soon.

Meanwhile: Do most of you want an internal window sticker or would you rather put a Vinyl sticker on the outside of the window? Both are possible, but if I'm going to have them made, I'd rather have a bulk price instead of a bunch of individual orders...saves you money that way too. Besides if i have a $200 order I automatically save 50% and get wholesale prices (I doubt if we are going to hit that...ever...ever).

So with that being said the more the merrier!

PS If there is anyone out there that knows how to get permission to use the RX8Club.com logo, please let me know...I'm sure they don't care about the free advertisement, but I would feel better doing this the right way. Thanks!

Pink... no lie....

actual size is 5x5 or 6x6...its going to be one or the other...most likely 6x6

***stickers are only going to be offered for exterior applications***

the response was overwhelming for external opposed to internal stickers.

the sticker is going to be originally offered in black, white, red, blue and pink...the others are possibilities...more information soon to come.

My goal is to make it affordable for custom orders...meaning one by one, and not in bulk...not like you guys are going to be ordering 100's at a time...

The best way to get over 200 orders would be to open this up to all rx8club members, not just us in the NJ crew. I think if we did that, a lot more people would jump in and order. Worth a shot.

dunno.... red or glitter red might be nice... but it may be hard to see on the tint... may have to go with something lighter... sigh.. decisions decisions...

Good catch!! I didn't notice that. I like the glitter red, it would match my VR paint. But i don't know how it would look on tint either.

polak is a vendor who pays this site to have access to the name.....to me this sounds like a vendor type program so i would be careful selling these without permission....

no i would have to pay ...as an addition to production costs...when push comes to shove...the clubs website doesnt have to be on there...we can think of something snazzy to put on there in its absence...but im sure they wouldnt mind the FREE ADVERTISING....I dont think they would make a stink....

You can contact Internet Brands at http://www.internetbrands.com/ib/advertising. My email that i sent to the "contact us" link on rx8club's main webpage may be going to the same people. But i am not sure.

Thanks, I am willing to help out as much as i can to get this off the ground. I was surprised that people liked the idea when I threw it out there the other day. But you really helped by flushing it out and creating an image to show everyone.

If they happen to say no about this, we could keep the image and drop the club name like you said. And maybe in place of that we could add our username. Although that makes it more custom and unable to mass produce. But its an option. Besides anyone who has the decal would know where it comes from anyway. So without the club name, it serves the same purpose.

True, use paypal and set up an ebay store. Or just set up an email address specifically for orders. But a paypal account is probably best.

I talked to Brian. He has a woman that he works with that does really good work on Vinyl and if we go through him, it'll probably be a lesser cost since he works with her all the time and brings her a lot of business. Keith, PM or IM me if you wanna get in contact with him about pricing.

Anything that would drive the cost down would be a good thing. Plus it sounds like we are good to go with the site owners so there shouldn't be any problems.

I believe Keith found someone to do the vinyls and ship them, they are just working out the logistics.

I am proud to announce the official launch of the "I've Been Spotted" Sticker!

I quickly made a page for it, and the page its self is at a fraction of it potential...but orders can be processed and logged...so don't be too critical..haha!! I also have plans for more stickers; something to look forward to...all stickers are offered with free shipping, and will be sent from Mass. I can only offer the basic colors: Black, White, Red, Blue and Pink for the moment...If you don't see a color that you like (other than metallic or glitter; also coming soon) please PM me and I'll see about getting it into production, but I will need a few requests before that can happen.

Be on the look out in the up and coming months...as of right now it is not available...but if someone is willing to pay for it, we can make it happen. go to the site and send an email using the custom order link in any of the sticker product boxes...please note that glitter orders and metallics are a few extra dollars as well...

Well, we did it guys. The "I've been spotted sticker" is real and in circulation...It's available in a plethora of colors, and can be applied anywhere on your car. It's made of long lasting vinyl that is rated for three years and its totally awesome!

They were shipped yesterday. You should get a tracking number in your email soon. USPS takes a while to send that information to you (me, the shipper). Yeah, sorry for the tease...The guy helping me with the manufacturing aspect of this venture wanted one for his 8, so it was just a matter of him "plotting" one and slapping it on the car...I'm jealous too...I haven't even gotten one (the pic below is photoshop-ed). LOL

Been tossing the idea around about making some "you've been spotted" business cards for people to hand out.... and including them in sticker orders.... hes a quick idea i came up with while at 'work' let me see some input before i put these into production!
