no jrichter is right actually as of the 3rd gen mazda dropped the miata name and started calling it an mx-5 :spank: :) good try though

JRichter 08-01-2008, 11:34 AM I was being somewhat sarcastic but Mazda does or did intend to drop the Miata name completely - perhaps they are holding on a couple of more years to make sure the average American Joe knows what a MX-5 is. I believe its been called an MX-5 or Roadster (Eunos) in most other markets back to the early 90's.
