lol, i can't resist when i start my car and i hear some car's alarm beep (aftermarket), so i'd rev it like 3 times and kick off the real alarm XD

The sound in a parking garage or overpass is music to my ears!

I have two vtecs in my car one in the front and one in the back it sounds sick!

But on subject - I think in parking garages it is almost irrestable to rev, the setting off car alarm thing is just a secondary effect that takes place and also pleases us :P

My 8 is not that loud:
Mazsport resonated midpipe and Rev8 exhaust.
The S/C whine is too high pitched to set off alarms.

Now my bike is another matter.:nono:

I like to do it at walmart or even when driving past used car lots :lol2:

Does a subwoofer that sets off car alarms (and makes dogs howl) count?

I love going through a bridge underpasses at about 8k.... just love it. Plus i always give a quick rev before shutting her down.

reminds me of that mitch hedberg joke about a monster magnet concert when they asked, "how many people feel like human beings tonight?" and mitch cheered. then they asked "how many people feel like animals tonight?" and everybody else cheered. "had i known that was a 2-part question, i would've cheered in the 'animals' part!"

I don't know why but I find it utterly irresistable to rev in any enclosed space, carwash, underpass, parking garages. :)

Instead of honking I rev my engine whenever someone is driving too slow in front of me.
I don't care if it's the highway, neighborhood streets, traffic, or driving locally.

it is a ton of fun... I rev just to rev... sometimes sets off alarms. There's a car next to my spot at my apartment that has a REALLY sensitive alarm. Sometimes it doesnt go off... sometimes revving does it, others it doesnt. Sometimes turning the car off does it, other times starting it will. What will do it most for some reason is the closing of doors though.

8000 and a couple of throttle taps and some flameage to top it off. WOOOHOOOO!

When taking my kids to school I sometimes wind down both widows as we go through an underpass and chop it down to second then go hard on the throttle .
They all just roll their eyes at me .......

Totally stock and all I have to do is drive normally to set off every oversensitive alarm within 50 feet.
