View Full Version : Taking pics of my friend's '07 Mustang (No 56k)
LHpitcher4 07-29-2008, 09:49 AM We only had Sony Cybershots (6 megapixels), so they're not up to par with the Rebels and D40's people use on the forum.
Comments, constructive criticism, etc..., this is my first photoshoot, so let me know what'cha think!:)

alnielsen 07-29-2008, 11:03 AM Move it to General Automotive. Check the title of this section.
As far as constructive criticism, frame your shots without having powerlines in the background.
Rizza Chevy plate frames? Must have got it used.

Yeah, it was in the Gen. Auto Sec. when I made it...
Thanks a lot for the post, and it was really hard to find decent picturesque(sp?) places around here, so the shots with the powerlines were the best we found. We'll take more when we find better frames...
As for the Chevy plates, he's 17 and he's paying for it himself, so he had to get it used. But yea, next time I think we'll take the plates off completely because mustangs look better without front plates (see "RX8" for more examples ;))
JRichter 07-29-2008, 11:46 AM Chevy plates on the 'Stang a nice touch, he he...

TopGear8 07-29-2008, 01:20 PM Looks like some of your pictures, especially your last one is a little washed out. Try taking your pics when the sun is not so bright, either in the morning, or evening.
SideOfBacon 07-29-2008, 01:25 PM far too much piston in the shots... j/k
good photos. can't bash stangs too bad, as I had a 35th anniv.
RX-GR8 07-29-2008, 01:53 PM just got a K&N intake for mine. disconnected the battery to let it relearn drove it ran fine. put the air on today and it stalled twice. guess it's relearning how to idle with the air on if it continues it's coming off.
9krpmrx8 07-29-2008, 01:56 PM Nice Mudstain. Oh, I mean Mustang. Good pics though.
Cattywampus 07-29-2008, 02:42 PM what can't you stand about them?

Me too, just a different breed. Plus your's is red which is a great color on the new Mustang
RX-GR8 07-29-2008, 03:01 PM cops like red GT's too. got pulled over without the front tag and didn't have my seat belt on and he let me go.

greg985 07-29-2008, 06:38 PM what can't you stand about them?
Let me re-phrase that, I cant stand v6 Mustangs, GT are good and Cobra+ is very nice. Just the v6 leaves alot to be desired
XDEEDUBBX 07-29-2008, 08:25 PM no likey..sorry
nvrfalter 07-29-2008, 08:27 PM failure. move to gen auto please
tajabaho1 07-29-2008, 08:56 PM this shouldn't be in multimedia
1. it doesn't have an rx8
2. it has a mustang
this fails

Yeah, he couldn't afford anything over $15k because he's paying for it himself, but it still sounds really nice, and with gas prices the way they are, a v6 isn't looking too bad.
Smoke Honda 07-29-2008, 10:32 PM Man. Tell me what you did. I have no photo skills at all. :banghead:

Honestly, go through some of the "Calling All (Enter color here)" threads and pick up tips and tricks from there...not to mention 90% of the threads in the Multimedia section that have AMAZING pictures...
I've learned everything I know from this forum;)
RX-GR8 07-30-2008, 12:22 AM i didnt get a miata i got an mx-5

Chris!!! sell it! get an rx-5
To be named later 07-30-2008, 01:24 AM Nice door guards. :)
My only suggestion is that when you are framing the shot, just scoot the Mustang back a little more. No......a little more. Keep going. More. Keep going. Back, back, back, back! Keep going! No......a little more. Keep going. More. Keep going. Back, back, back, back! Keep going! There. That's better.
:)
BRGREEN8 07-30-2008, 05:15 PM lol, Chris got pawned :D
Chris!!! sell it! get an rx-5
dont sell it! drop a renesis in it instead chris!
i dont know why people hate on the new mustang so much. its not a bad looking car and its a huge V6 under the hood.
besides, its ford's money maker as most people who buy mustangs just want the old school look, and they dont want to pay a premium for the V8 models.
