I am taking delivery of a my new silver RX-8 2007 in a week or so. It is brand new with 140 miles on it. I am considering selling the wheels and tires and possbily the front seats right now, because I will install performance seats and wheels later this year and the car will become a race car in the near future. I will consider a trade for your old wheels and tires plus cash as long as they are in OK condition to drive for a few thousdans miles before I do the final swap.

You will have to give me a couple of weeks before it will be done to take delivery, make sure it is OK, and get things uninstalled.

I am located in NJ and work in NYC, and can meet up for delivery/swap in the area.

Finally, as for prices, I was thinking $1,200 for wheels and tires and $800 for seats, considering it is all brand new. Willing to ship also

prices are way too much. Try half that and you should be able to sell quick.

 

Really? $600 for brand new rims and tires? I saw used rims (no tires) sold here for $400-$500. The tires alone would be $700 new. I checked.

Its that theres not as big a market here for anyone wanting a new oem wheel package...

Try the mazda 3, 6 and generic mazda forums, because they would be more likely to want NEW oem rx8s with tires.

 

Good idea. I just sold my MS3 and remember people were looking for RX-8 wheels over there. Thought i will offer first here.

 

I'm very interested in swapping wheels depending on price...but will you be willing to separate them from the tires? if not we could definitely still try working something out...I am located in NJ as well

I told him in an e-mail the price of the tires is way to much, but I'm still interested in the tires if you bump the price down quite a bit....like half.

 

Well, since I am in no hurry, for a low price I might as well keep them. I still think $600 shipped for four brand nerw tires is fair.
