View Full Version : Lil Wayne's The Cater III blackkittenx3 07-28-2008, 04:25 PM anyone got this album yet? the tracks are ridiculous! Munnie 07-28-2008, 05:36 PM its all about the Kanye West Remix of Lollipop Also tracks 3, 4 and 5 are bad a$$ You might wanna check out Jay Z's - A Billi Jin_Masters http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/3329/06042008197vl5.jpg XDEEDUBBX 07-28-2008, 07:29 PM DL'ed the album a couple months ago.. RX7joey 07-28-2008, 11:15 PM id have to say im a bigger fan of his mixtapes leading up to this cd. a handfull of those songs would have blown away this cd. i'll start naming songs if i have to. but i will say that a milli might be song of the summer for me playdoh43 07-28-2008, 11:22 PM Lil Wayne is like a guest rapper on every song now.. I love the one with JayZ, Mr. Carter. The album has some pretty strong tracks, one of the better rap albums this year. I'm waiting to see what TI has got in store and my favorite album so far this year is Nas' mixtape. Best album of the year is still Viva la Vida tntmst 07-28-2008, 11:24 PM Its really not one of his better albums, he's trying to be too mainstream and its not him, like rx7joey said his mixtapes are alot better, even though if you listen to enough of his mixtapes, his album has alot of his best lines from his mixtapes playdoh43 07-28-2008, 11:31 PM i think you have to treat him as a main stream artist now, i mean he really is in every song out now. All you can say is good for him, because he is doing what he is supposed to do, make that money. Being raw doesnt necessarily mean better.. Theres nothing wrong with dropping big time main stream hits like lolly pop and a milli and they rock in the clubs, always get people hyped. its a natural cycle and its his turn to move up, theres plenty of up and comming underground rappers who are raw, let them take over the torch |
