My parking ticket has an error. The expiration date as written on the ticket is not correct. Is that sufficient doubt to claim that the ticket is invalid as it does not reflect the true expiry date of what is written on my plate?

you probably wont even get a court date.

No I don't think that's considered a major error...they'll just fix that if you go to court. Besides, who's to say you just didnt get a new sticker

the records from DMV?
it would show when you got the sticker, if it was pre ticket date or post ticket date....

like I said..they get so many tickets, 90% of them are thrown out even you knowing..

they most likely wil not contact you fr a court date even after you have filed one.

and no records show on your record as well.

So having said that Turboeight, is that sufficient evidence when I go to court to say that there was error on my ticket? Though this error doesn't really introduce any doubt into the the actual offense committed.

Just an opinion, since parking tickets have to affect on your insurance or driver license fees, I feel that if you were illegally parked...................pay the ticket! If you werent parked illegally then fight it. If you do the crime do the time.

So would it really be worth it to fight the ticket then if you have to get that info? You'd have to book time off work as well to go to court. I agree that if it's a $30 ticket, might be easier to just pay it. I'm sure you'd make more than that in the day or half day that you'd be taking off work. And I wouldn't want to use my vacation day to spend it in court to get out of $30.

the amount of stress and time wasted cost much more than 30 bucks footman.

If you go by driving and parking...it cost you even more.
