-Winning Blue
-GT package
-Manual Trans.
-Rear Spoiler
Just so you know if your planning on getting a bonus or some break to afford the GT packaged 8 I'd consider getting the touring or sport because even though its very tempting some people have had to sell their 8 because things didn't go as planned.
omagic 11-23-2003, 09:13 PM hummmmm... ok Im not concern about the price really. I just want to see what other people on here have paid so i can compare with what my dealers are telling me. Also how much they are paying for insurance.
waldo 11-23-2003, 09:33 PM I put 0 down, and talked them 1000 off, plus 500 college grad discount. The dealer's bank only did 4.5% as the lowest rate (I qualified). Insurance for me with a 92 Explorer (5sp, 2dr, 2wd) as a primary vehicle, and this as a 'pleasure' vehicle is 500/6 mos with Geico. My last at fault incident was 8/00, no tickets, driving style notwithstanding. No collision on the Explorer (it wins in wrecks), but low deductibles and comprehensive on both.
I bought a silver xenon+dcs 6MT car off the lot. That was 3 weeks ago.
I am 22.
HottRodder 11-23-2003, 11:15 PM 1. $101
2. $29905.15
- 6MT
- Touring
3. 4.00%
4. $465 (9.5k Down)
KTM-316 11-24-2003, 02:35 AM $225/month on my insurance
omagic 11-25-2003, 02:50 AM mazda gives a college grad discount??? SWEET i grad right before i plan on buying my 8.
ptiemann 11-25-2003, 10:29 AM I paid MSRP, the only number I could haggle was on my trade-in.
I got AAA insurance, premium for a year is $1750.
That's with $100,000 / $300,000 coverage, $500 deductible in California, but not the most expensive ZIP code.
(If I still lived in San Diego, my insurance would be 40% higher.)
I'm 38 with 2 claims in the past 3 years.
rieskame 11-25-2003, 11:10 AM I paid about 3 grand under sticker including the grad discount on a black GT w/ nav. I havent plated my car yet and im not sure what my insurance is going to be. Im 22.

They also give family discounts...so if you know of someone w/ a Mazda...
Not sure if it applies to all cars.
8ZoomZoomZoom8 11-25-2003, 01:20 PM I'm 27 and my insurance is 483 every six months. 25/50 coverage with 500 deductibles. I have no tickets and accidents(knocks on wood).:D
dankgummy 11-25-2003, 02:45 PM 24 and my insurance is $116/month. I have full coverage w/100 deductibles.
TownDrunk 11-25-2003, 03:37 PM I'm 31, married, two kids, three cars (including my 8) on my policy ($100K/$300K) when I added my 8, it upped my insurance by $290/6mo. My deductible is $500 collision/$250 comp. Insurance is through Mercury Ins. They don't have a monthly payment plan, but they do have bi-monthly, quarterly, and semi-yearly plans. The more payments you make, the more in "service charges" they have for you.

$124 vs $93 per month? The RX-7 is a sports car. The -8 is a four-door family car!
