I'm 23 years old...will be 24 in 3 weeks. I purchased my RX8 less than a week ago. I'm curious what the age of you RX8 owners. And those of you under 26, did you pay for your cars yourself? No hate if mom or dad hooked you up...I wish I could be so lucky. Me I'm in debt for the next five years, but hey! I own a bad ass black 6spd RX8.

32 here will be 33 in March. I bought my 10th Anniversary Edition Miata back when I was 29 and still have it. It's my younger brother to the 8. :) And yes, I paid for my Miata and I am currently paying for my 8.

24. Paying cash. ('03 Mitsu Eclipse totalled in wreck. Not my fault, thank God).

22. I intend to keep my 175k mile laden 92 Explorer, which ironically gets much better mileage, until the wheels fall off. I paid cash for the Explorer back in the day, but due to my losing hand in the market the last year, I have a very big loan on the 8 (0 down). But all in all, not bad for someone graduating in a month. My father did give me a small sum for graduation, but that about halves my loses in the market, of which all are mine. Mommy and daddy (div.) didnt do a blessed thing for me.

I like the 8. I am a 330i lover convert (for now, might turn over that stone years down the road). The mileage will piss me off soon (14+ on 2 tanks), but its a tight little package. However, if the 6 had more stones, and a turning radius less than a cement mixer, Id have that. Very neat car.

That being said, I like the community here. Lots of intelligent people keeping their cool. Try reading E46Fanatics.com for a kindergarten lesson on ricers and street racing. *sigh* Keep up the good work.

My girlfriend and I got our's on the 20th of November. I turned 23 back in October. My girlfriend turns 20 at the beginning of December.

We bought the car together, she put most of the down payment and traded her old Del Sol in. I'll be covering insurance. She'll be making the minimum payments, and I'll be supplementing double that each month.

Just turned 43 on Nov 19th.

Damn you sound like me....Im 23 yrs old, already ordered my 8 and am doing it all by myself ........Im also not looking forward to being in debt for the next 5 yrs! But that baby sure is worth it ....oh do I feel ya!

I'm 46, is that too old to want the screaming yellow???? I love that color but it looks like speeding ticket in bold letters. Either you like it or hate it, yellow that is. Next option is the Tit gray, with the black and Chap leather. Heck, all the colors look sooo good I can't choose..........

I am 41 - I had an RX-3 in Puerto Rico, then bought an 85 GSL-SE that I still have. So I've been driving a rotary for over 20 years witout major problems. Let's hope the luck continues with this one...
