When I waxed my car I got some wax on some parts of the black plastic (bottom of the rear window). Any suggestions on how I might get this off?

I did the same and carefully used some rubbing alcahol. It is the best I ffound through trial and error. Still not perfect though. Make sure you armor all the plastic after and be careful of the paint, good luck.

use meguairs cleaning for the window seals and weather trim, it should work.

You could try washing with Dawn. Use an abrasive sponge. Be careful. Takes a little elbow grease.

Rubbing alcohol won't hurt the paint but it can remove your wax depending on which type you used.

Try an eraser. Like on a pencil. Really.

Or peanut butter. Yes, really.

Alcohol will strip the wax of the nearby paint, and drips. An eraser and peanut butter (not used together) can be easily controlled.
