i just wanted to drop by this forum to compliment your rx8 (keep in mind this is the first non Z forum I have decided to make an account). I personallly like it and if i had a choice to get another car RIGHT NOW it would be a toss up between the g35-rx8. The new rx7 is coming out next year,. is that correct? I have a "fairlady" right now and i love it like a religion and it is "spectacular, spectacular" (name that phrase, what film?)

it's unfortunate we have to listen to immature posts on our vehicles to to justifying the product we have bought.

personally it was a relief that the "eights" are not performing numbers they were supposed to only because i bought a Z and the "eights" potential of surpassing the z in stock form...then again it's irrelevent because everyone starts to MOD

BUT THE SIMILAR EXPERIENCE WOULD BE-it seems the rx8 is dishing out a lot less horsies, just as it seems the z is dishing out a lot of trannies=) NOT MINE=)....but nissan has fixed the problem thank God.

But just wait for the aftermarket products for your car and you'll be tossing ponies left and right like our texas z "bluebeast" pushing 439 rwh.

people like to claim our car as the "pig" it's obviously not the lightest car but it sure isn't the heaviest. There are cars that are heavier then the z that pull better stock quartermile....so many variables.

what's the point of having so many horsies if you can't ride them all=)

goooooooooo "EIGHTS!"-wish i knew someone in chicago land area who had an "eight" so we could ride....take care!~

is there really going to be a RX-7 next year? I haven't found any literature on it yet.

it made me laugh to read that line -

I'm shopping for a sports car and the 8 is top on my list. I took my first test drive the other day and as soon as I was done, I drove down the road half a mile to the Nissan dealership and test drove the Z - down the exact same curvy road I'd just taken the 8.

When I got home, I told my finace that the 8 exceeded my expectations. About the Z I told her, "Driving it, it felt like I had strapped a saddle onto the back of a swine. Everytime I took a curve I felt like I was about to be rolled in the mud."

handling is great in the z but you have but you have to keep in mind the amount of power that can go in a turn to make it feel less stable-key word "feel". when i test drove the "eight" to the handling was great like the s2k but again you have to consider the amount of power the car is pushing in the turns. =) other then that....taking curves like i would with a womens body=)

I heard that mazda was not going ahead with a 4th generation rx-7. If they do, I highly doubt it'll be next year...give it another 3-4 years
