i want to cut out my cat then straight pipe it .what do i do w/o2 sensor,cut it off,unplug can someone help?

If your mid-pipe has a bung, just install it into the bung.
If it doesn't have a bung, disconnect the sensor from its harness (which is mounted very close to where the cat is).

Stick it in the hole! lol
