Hey guys I have an '05 switchblade key that is cut and I want to program it so it can be used. I want to make sure that if I screw up during programming, is it possible to screw up the computer? I don't want to mess up the car and then pay tons of money to fix it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

nope

worst case is, have dealer program it for u. if u're still under warranty, just tell them that "oh, the key doesnt work for some reason. reprogram it" thats it.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that I have an '04. So if I go through the procedure and do something wrong, I can just do everything again with no problems? I would really like to do it myself, but don't want to risk messing up something.

Do I need to program the valet key along with the 2 existing keys and the new key, or does will the valet key work anyway without being programed? Thanks.

I think you can program up to 8 keys....

And it's not like the remotes...you don't have to program them all in again every time ...

So I can forget about using the valet key when I program the new key by just using my two working 04 keys? Then the valet key will still work eventhough I didn't do anything to it?
