View Full Version : Anyone Ski Colorado?? Where to find a good deal? zthang 11-20-2003, 08:47 PM Hey guys, just wondering if anyone out there knows where I can get a good deal to ski colorado during Jan 5-10. Its just gonna be me and my girlfriend and I just want to get a good deal. Any help is greatly appreciated. mamccubbin 11-21-2003, 12:49 AM As far as deals go, it all depends on where you want to save money (i.e. lodging, lift tickets, etc.) The best deals are almost always at the smaller locations. So avoid Vail, Aspen, and such. Your best bet might be to call a ski shop out there and see what they say. Sometimes you can get discout lift tickets at the grocery stores out there. Also, check out onthesnow.com for some good updates on conditions and packages. Hope this helps. julian 11-21-2003, 06:12 AM 6 os us stayed at www.twinseasons.com last year. it's in summit county, pretty close drive to all the major ski resorts. not sure if they have rooms for smaller parties but it's worth checking out. Gord96BRG 11-21-2003, 11:07 AM If you want a good deal, skip Colorado and head straight to Canada. Try Whistler/Blackcomb (fly into Vancouver, BC), the terrain is as good or better than anything in CO, and with the exchange rate you can't beat the prices. You could also consider Banff area (fly into Calgary, Alberta), the skiing at Lake Louise is fantastic, the scenery is the best this side of Europe. Seriously!
