View Full Version : Got my car !!!!
jimbobjoe 11-20-2003, 07:46 AM Just picked it up. Very happy indeed.
But I have to work late the rest of the week and all weekend, so I won't get to drive it much for a few days.
Frustrating.
RobDickinson 11-20-2003, 07:47 AM gratz!
Thats what sickies are for!
oilman 11-20-2003, 07:50 AM Well done Jim!
Don't forget to put a pic on the Owners Club site.
Cheers
Oilman
Murphy 11-20-2003, 08:22 AM Congrats!
(and if you need anyone to "keep your car company" while you work, let me know ;) )
AndyPearce 11-20-2003, 08:30 AM Congratulations - I'm sure you'll find a few excuses to get out in it anyway over the weekend.
MarkW 11-20-2003, 08:47 AM Congrats Jimbob :)
One more to the Reds!
Saw a red next to a tit grey last week-end. Dull rainy day and both cars just delivered and not prepared.
Red looked dull whilst tit grey still looked grand. I'm sure in the sun the red will sparkle and look superb but otherwise.......

Harrizone 11-20-2003, 09:31 AM Jim, Bob, Joe,
Congratulations on the new arrival.
But apart from an identity crisis and a brand new shiny RX-8, what else have you got going for you.
AAAAAAgh! Youre also a moderator on the site. Please! Please! don't cut me of in mid sente
Joking apart. Good Luck
AnilS 11-20-2003, 10:43 AM Happy driving JBJ.

You obviously haven't seen red at night under any kind of artificial light. My car looked absolutely stunning sat on the garage forecourt when I filled it up the other night. The yellow in the fluorescent lights really brings out the mica.
ROTORIST 11-20-2003, 01:15 PM Nice one jimbobjoe, glad to see another out of Milford!
I think I may have seen yours when I collected mine, does yours have polished strakes?
Looked great (even though it was red)
:D
Happy rotoring.
mr_digital_uk 11-20-2003, 01:47 PM Quick question to those of you who recently collected out of Milford....
How much notice did you get from Graham before you actually picked it up ...
Just trying to organise finance, insurance etc as mine is due any day

Mine arrived at the dealer 5 days early (on saturday), but they took till today to get it ready as they have a bit of a queue (and staff taking sickies).
So you will probably get 3-5 days notice between the car arriving and being ready.

That was mine. I was unsure about the polished strakes, but they look fantastic. Just need to keep the bugger clean now.
Pillman 11-22-2003, 07:58 AM Jimbobjoe, well done mate...shame about the weekend weather. All new cars look so much better under sunlight..
Lensman 11-22-2003, 08:00 AM Bon Voyage!
Damn this rain. It's preventing me waxing my '8.
Pillman 11-22-2003, 08:24 AM I thought the dealer waxed it...should that not last 3-4 weeks..?
renegade_si 11-23-2003, 08:30 PM in this weather? 3-4 days!!!
