FI is an abbreviation of forced induction , by turbocharger/supercharger. Forcing more air into the engine , thus "forced induction"

Fi as referenced in the new new NEW periodic table is the element of Fixium. Fixium is a gas that when applied to the intake system of a car magically repairs all problems with it, as well as giving it the abilities to fly andtraverse interstellar space! ... ...so am I full of crap yet? ;)
