Tried to find a forum on the RX8..Filled with OPEN MINDED people..With knowledge to share and humor in many things...
Failed found a forum with stuck up extremely biased and rude people...Note: not all are bad but a few really suck...some just can't seem to take things lightly...
I guess I joined the forum to early..Not owning an RX8 just yet and trying to find out everything possible about the car and the people who drive them....I hope you all enjoy your cars....And see ya on the road..till then Peace:cool:

Hi Geek, as forums go this is pretty benign compared to many. This is the best forum about the 8 too.

Stay with us, Geek. This is the only forum I contribute to and regularly look at. I think nearly all of us will try to be helpful. I didn't own an 8 when I first joined -- I had put down a deposit though. :)

You know if all the members were like you guys...I would stick around...but the select few are complete A$#HOLES....I will probally keep reading..but no more posting...Thanks for the support....

Don't worry about it. In a year or so most of the uptight owners will have sold their 8's and moved on to something new.

The a$$holes are mostly trolls. Ignore them, and they will eventually get shriller and shriller till they get banned. Stick with us Geek, you've got a lot to contribute.

Use the ingore button - that's what it's for.

If the general thread interests you and someone on your ignore list contributes - you can alway open up the post if you wish.

Anonymous people behave strangely sometimes, but there are people on this forum that do have a very obvious anti-RX8 agenda.

it's all just talk on an internet forum. take light to anything that's said on the board and if it is truly useful take hold of it otherwise leave it be and forget it was ever spoken.

Geek, if someone is being a jerk for no reason, you can always report them, or just bug a mod about it. We try to make sure everyone's generally pleasant, but we miss things sometimes. Stick around a bit- it really is a nice place.

I just joined myself not too long ago. Even with all the useless S**t and name calling I still think it has a wealth of info to offer. Especially to someone like myself who is in the process of purchasing an 8. This has some very informative topics that you really can't get anywhere else.

I would like to personally thank the individual(s) responsible for starting the RX8 Club!!

I just counted 11 post of people trying to help and encourage you to "stick with us." You have to agree that a bunch jerks would not do this. Most of us here are friendly and can have mature discussions, even when we disagree with each other. Please stick around and things will turn around.

There's a funny mix on this forum, but I am actually amazed by the thoughtful tenor of most posts. There's a *lot* of really useful information about the RX-8 and some discussions in the Lounge that are sure to satisfy evem the intellectuals among us (not that I would claim that status). Yeah, there are some jerks, but I'm not about to let them ruin it for me. I'm new to forums, but after following and finally joining this one I've looked around at some others. IMHO, this has to be among the best out there.

yeah man, if you're used to any other forums....this place isn't bad at all :)

it aint that bad here... soon the trolls will leave and the smoke and dust will settle. the car is new .. and there is alot out this year. give this site a year it will becoem a really educational place to be about the 8.. after all new car owners (every car not just RX-8) stop thinking they own gods gift to the automotive industry
