I subscribed. I just hope it'll have lots of content dealing with the RX-8, as this is my first rotary car anything dealing with the RX-7 doesn't really interest me much. I can't wait for the first issue.

I signed up the first day the notices went up. And I agree with Jag, and just hope it'll have lots of content dealing with the RX-8.

Obviously the price will be higher for mailing to Canada?

Can someone 'in the know' post a price, or update the registration form?

I believe price for Canada will be the same, we'll charge you the Canadian equivalent of $22 US dollars. I don't think we need to charge any extra for shipping.

$22 is too much? It's a specialty mag with a limited release. When we did our survey, 85% said they'd be willing to pay up to $25 for a year of the magazine. It may go down in the future, but this is what we need to get things off the ground. So either support it for a few bucks more than you want to spend, or watch as this magazine fails and there's nothing similar at all on the market.

$22 is a very fair price, IMHO.

I signed up, $22 is equivalent of a dinner. Not a bad price at all

man i thought i was cheap......$1.83 per issue is way cheap. apparently some of you have never bought a mag from a store.
Average cost from here is about 4 bucks a mag no matter what it is.

I think the price is good too. We wanted (and really needed) to charge more, but plan to break even on subscriptions and make our money on advertisers.

But it ALL depends on you guys, don't wait. We NEED subscribers now so that we can show the numbers to advertisers. PLEASE don't wait weeks to subscribe if you plan on doing so.

I'd like to subscribe, but would rather not use a credit card, and would rather not have an open-ended subscription (the form states: "You will be charged the amount shown below on a yearly basis "). Any way I can get billed and pay by check?

It's really somewhat disappointing that there's not more 'buzz' about the magazine.

I'm still uncertain, being a new mag and all. How much pages is it looking to average monthly?

36 pages for the first 2 months, then scaling to 60 pages by mid 2004. Come on, it's only $22. Try it for a year, I bet you'll end up being a lifetime subscriber if you do.

Just subscribed! Good price, willing to pay $25/year for 12 issues.

Rotary tuning is not reported very well in the media. Too much Hondas, Golf, WRX tuning.

One request, please keep the g-string-girl-on-car spread to a minimum. Want to be able to read this mag at work!

I also have that request as I AM a girl and don't really want to see much of that, especially not on the cover please. The mail carrier might start thinking some weird things.... :)

sorry dude, i don't think that 'cause it says "Tuner" in the title it's like every other "tuner" magazine out there... at least i hope it won't be.

*SUBSCRIBE ALREADY!!* if you own a rotary powered vehicle (just like i don't), then you MUST buy this publication!! NOW!!

so, uh, Ryan, other than owning and tuning a car, what are other prerequisites for becoming a contributor??

No reason to be disappointed Ryan, there will be a LOT more "buzz" after the magazine shows up on our door steps. I, for one, am PSYCHED and REALLY looking forward to getting it... but again, I want to reiterate that I hope there is a lot of RX-8 related articles.

And didn't you mention that you were in need of contributors? If so, I'm interested...

I just subscribed! I look forward to the mag - as many other publications do not give the Roto - engines the respect that they deserve.
