I don't see any reason why Mazda wouldn't provide a link for us to see the official worldwide unveiling of the production rx-8.

I'm sure somebody here will post a link as soon as it's available. :)

I'll be opening up the questions to the execs and designers to the community again, a story should be posted tomorrow.

I'll also be taking requests to try things out when driving the RX-8. Remember, I'm the owner of a 315 RWHP RX-7, and a 200 (more like 250+ RWHP REPU), and the past owner of a streetported 86 N/A RX-7, and a 83 12a RX-7. so I have a good grasp of what fast rotaries feel like.

No US thread yet. Only the JP thread. You can assume the US will get the same color options. Go to Media section and look for Japan web site link.

I have seen some where in the forum that the Mazda usa web site will have all the options after the US introduction in Detroit on Tuesday, Jan. 7th.

107 hours more to go! Is this all the freaks we have here?

There's a particular hell-hole in Hamtramck where I occasionally have to go for my job. I generally bitch and moan when I have to go up there, but now I'm looking for an excuse to make a trip next week :) Wish me luck!

I want to watch, but I don't know if I can grab a computer with internet capabilities at work long enough without someone noticing.

But....
Instead of going to Italy for our first anniversary, I convinced my husband to go to Detroit next week JUST so I could see the darn thing in person. I'd say that qualifies me as pretty loony, in any case.

Let's see...

I'll be at work, hmmm, how to look like I'm doing something important, and relevant to my job.

Oh hell, I'll just have to be quick with the ALT/TAB.
