My car came from the previous owner with a huge scratch in the dashboard. It's in the piece that sits over the LCD display - directly above the head unit. It apparently comes in two flavors, one for Bose equipped cars that has a grill for a center speaker, and one for cars with the standard stereo without a grill. My car has only the standard sound system, so I suppose either piece will work. I'm sure there are some people who must have one sitting around, due to having installed navigation, or gauges, or something else.
