Just wanted to know the cost of scheduled maintenace. Is it in the same line as maybe a civic or rsx type-s ? or is it more in the same league as more exotic european cars like BMW or Audi's? I hear maintenace for a BMW or any european car cost an arm and a leg. Is it the same for the rx-8? I hope its not because this might be the deciding factor between getting an RX-8 or an rsx type-s :( Thanks in advance!

I saw the posted prices at my dealer and the oil change is something like 26 bucks and a free tire rotation. Still waiting on my service card but it's not that bad if thats all it is.

26 bucks for an oil change sounds on par with a 2000 Honda Civic EX...how would I know? That's how much I used to pay to get my Civic's oil changed when I was using regular organic oils...

Mazda(UK) dealers charge some of the lowest main dealer prices in the UK. Servicing for the RX-8 in the UK is a bargain.

the dealer can look up your VIN if you don't have the card yet. I f they can't find your VIN, tell them to check under recall section. I spent like 1 hour yesterday's morning with my dealer's service guy trying to figure out where, since they couldn't find my VIN. He said usually they put it under other programs, but this time they stuck it under recall for some reasons.
