Well, this is just a quick poll to see where the new RX-8 owners are coming from.

Quick Note: one of the options is RX-8 and FB not FE, my mistake

I have an 8 & 94 FD. I used to own an 82 FB & 88 FC vert.

No particular one of the above. Dear Wife & I both have old Miatas as daily drivers/autocrossers. She wanted a luxury boat to suppliment her sports car, but didn't see herself as quite old enough for a Caddy. The 8 won out over a Tundra with a slide-in camper.

I currently drive an 8, a 93 FD, and a WRX wagon. I've owned an 88 porsche 944, 82 datsun 280zx turbo (fun car), 90 Taurus SHO, 92 Eagle Talon (2.0 liter), 86 Jetta Gli, 87 Cabriolet and an 84 Prelude. I think that is it. Wow, too many cars for only driving for 10 years. Of course, I have shared all of these vehicles with my wife.

I'm not tryin to be a smart-a** or anything but the rx-8's vehicle code or chassis code (i don't know what it's called) is SE3P. so i think it's an SE. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

My firt car was a 77 260z when I was sixteen, I didn't get a chance to drive because my parent traded it in for a brand new toyta tercel. Had it for five years and sold the care and get me a 93 240sx fast back had that for 2 years traded it in for a 95 240sx. I trad my 240sx for the 02 protege 5. The 5 sold me on Mazda. I love the handling, the looks and the quality was much better than nissan. I still miss my 240sx though, but Mazda has made it easier to forget. I traded the 5 for the 8. It had everything the 5 had and more. I just can't stop thinking about
