Since my beloved 8 is still in service for the fender repair, I took the time to install an aftermarket plasma display and an Isotta steering wheel on my coleague's 2002 Ford Focus. It took nearly 8 hours because it was the first time when I removed the dashboard. Anyway, we weren't in a hurry, we drank a couple of beers and the result is shown below.

I'm just warming up for the time when I will change the steering wheel on my 8. By the way, does anyone know how to remove it ? I'd appreciate it.

The display is awesome and the steering wheel looks really cool, but I would miss my airbag...

Have you ever driven with a sports wheel instead of one with an airbag ? It's a huge difference. It's lighter and easier to handle. As for security... If God luvz ya, you won't need an airbag. And if He doesn't luv ya, you might as well have 20 airbags installed and end up screwed anyway...
