Ok so I bought my RX8 last week and looking under the hood I saw this cut tube, the buy told me that its a breathing chamber but from all the engine pics I have seen it looks like that tube is going somewhere.

it's a breather line that runs back to your intake. it should be reattached.

It goes on to one of the connectors on the air inlet (the corrugated large rubber pipe)

Find the connector without its hose......

i cant see pics here at work, but just from what i read...

solutions:

1) get a new hose and attach it
2) get a oil catch can and prolly some new tubing and attach it

Anyone knows where this is exactly?

Bottom right of your (aweful) picture.....

Follow the tube towards the throttle body, you'll see two black 90 degree bent plastic fittings, on the side and under a bit.

Put it on the one with no hose......
