I have been reading and learning from this forum snce this past summer from all of you while I was a waiting for my 8.

Well this evening my wait ended!

I got my 8 and had a blast driving it home. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, me or my my twin 9 year old sons.

The dealer took almost 2 hours putting on the strakes, hence the delay for me today. The MP3 is in stock but they forgot to order the face plate, so I have to return next week.

Man this car looks great, drives like a bullit on rails. Now if I can only get the stereo to sound right. I only played FM, so I will be playing with it more with my CDs and see or rather hear what this thing sounds like.

Off to autobarn to find a decent padded cover to keep it warm at night.

I had to share with you all as I have read many, many posts on how most of you are happy with your cars. (OK some aren't).

Now where am I gonna drive to get some miles on this car??????

GREAT! Show us some pics soon and enjoy the ride! My brother sells cars for a living and he drove my car lastnight and said it had awesome handling....equivalent to a vette!! He sold Chevy's for a long time!

What can I say, WOW! Day 1 and I am taking it easy and not reving beyong 4.5K and this car realy is a joy.

Any excuse and I am out the door for a drive. Bought me some LG and a car cover, played with the CD player and can't wait to get some MP3 burnt to try out.

But I have just been listening to the sound of the engine as I go through the gears. I am new to the rotary engne and clearly no piston engine has that turbine sound.

And the way it handles and begs to be pushed harder.

All in good time.

I have noticed the cars smells at times of buring chemicals and I know I am not slipping the cluth or anything. Some of the odors would cause me concern if they don't disappear soon. I put it all to a new engine being broken in, is all.

I am very pleased with my choice and the wait was well worth it.

Thanks for the good wishes.

WOW! What a car, in so many ways.

It is not often that I get something and then use it, in this case sit in it and just feel that it is designed correctly in so many ways, it just feels right.

This car is a real technological marvel and a piece of art to boot.

I read all the issues and critiques on this forum and compare that to what I feel when I sit and drive this car. Too many complainers and not enough praise for such a fine machine.

I haven't had that much time in it yet and I haven't pushed it hard yet but so far this car seems to stand out in so many ways.

I think this car is outstanding, done right, feels right and I have never gotten such a tight unified feeling about any other car B4, like I feel now with the 8.

Hopefully I will be spared any major issues with this car, but for now I sit in awe.

My 2 cents,

Claude H.
